amazing grace, christianity, empty eyes, empty soul, enduring marriage, friends, hollow eyes, I once was blind, Jackie Little Miller, life, lonely soul, love, lucky charms, no hope, sorrow

85479eaf34e9d03Haven’t seen you for so long, though we used to be so close.

But I’m sensing something is wrong, though the conversation flows.

Your searching for something, But I see through your disguise.

Cause you can’t hide your heart behind hollow eyes.

Lucky charms can’t bring you peace, when you have a wounded soul.

Yet you know that life must end, so you’re scared of getting old.

If not created, Why this emptiness of soul?

What is this yearning deep inside your hollow eyes?

But I saw, and I cried, to see the emptiness and loneliness, that you try to hide.

I hope your soul finds the answers your mind is looking for.

And I pray that your lonely heart will finally find its way to Christ,

Cause only he can heal your hollow eyes.

I once was blind but now I see,

Jesus changed me, rearranged me, and placed this fire in my soul.

Jesus loves you, it’s the one thing, I know, that I know, that I know.

I saw, and I cried, to see you hide behind hollow eyes.

bad times, cares, Children, christianity, enduring marriage, FaceBook, hands, happy marriage, husband, Jackie Little Miller, laughter, life, love, marriage, praising God, praying, rain, rainfall, singing, spirituality, storm in life

Children dancing in the rain, enjoying the song it’s singing.

Granny covers up her head, and calls the young ones in.

Papa’s telling momma, as he reads the evening paper.

He knew that it would rain because; he’d washed the family car.

Momma said, we need the rain Darling, we need the rain.

She said, come let the rain fall on your face, let it wash our cares away,

Lord let your rain fall down on me; let it set our spirits free.

Mom and Daddy stood there with their faces to the sky,

They must have looked half crazy to the people driving by.

Granny said they would catch their death, if they stayed out there that way.

But they were praising Jesus, when they turned to her to say

We need the rain Granny, we need the rain.

They said, come let the rain fall on your face, let it wash our cares away,

Lord let your rain fall down on me; let it set our spirits free.

The years have brought some hard times, Jesus saw us through the pain.

The sky is turning dark again, and I know it’s going to rain

But I’ll remember Daddy, getting up out of his chair,

Joining Momma in the rain, so I’ll praise Jesus there.

I know we need the rain, we need the rain

Sweet Jesus, Come let the rain fall on my face, let it wash my cares away,

Lord let your rain fall down on me; let it set our spirits free.

Fall on me,

Sweet Lord Come let your rain fall on my face, wash my cares away, wash away.

I love just browsing through Etsy and getting great gift and decorating ideas. I can absolutely spend a whole day lost in Pinterest! There are So many creative people out there and so many unique items. I just love getting new ideas for making things, and I would so much rather buy from them then regular retail stores where everyone buys the same exact things, wouldn’t you?

You can find almost anything on Etsy, from earrings to stained glass windows and everything in between. It makes shopping so much fun!

Check out my latest Treasury List on Etsy. These items are not from my shop, but just some of my fun finds! There are so many cool things, It is hard to narrow it down to just 16 items, but these are my picks for the week!
